The GSAapp is based on the database of the ChemInfo system, which is operated and maintained by a federal-state cooperation project. The countries involved in the cooperation and their BOS associations can use it free of charge and in full.

In the GSAapp, information on around 40,000 substances can be intuitively checked using different profiles for the fire department, specialist advisors, rescue services and THW.

You get the GSAapp with demo data. This clarifies the functions of the GSAapp. If you are an authorized user of ChemInfo, you can download the complete database of rapid information on hazardous substances with the registration data free of charge.

The GSAapp is divided into a substance and transport search. With the transport search, you can search for legal regulations and dangers of transported goods in general by entering search parameters into a visualized warning board.

Chemical properties of individual substances can be researched using the text search. Substance names, CAS numbers or UN numbers are used to enter and search. Depending on the profile set, the information found is displayed in different tabs.

The information contained includes general material properties, dangers and measures as well as protection and first aid instructions.
