Grand Masonic Lodge of Amapá, Federative Republic of Brazil, founded on August 20, 1988, by the Augustas, Respectables and Meritorious Lodges Symbolic Duque de Caxias n°1, Acácia do Norte n°2, Cavaleiros do Setentrião n°3, was constituted legally and legitimately on October 22, 1988 and is made up of the Symbolic Lodges described above, the Augustas and Respectable Meritorious Symbolic Lodges Francisco Torquato de Araújo n°4, José Alves Pessoa n°5, Renascença Amapaense n° 6, Esplendor do Laranjal do Jarí n°7, Fênix n°8, Harmonia Santanense n°9, Fraternity Portograndense nº 10, Gnose, Verdade nº 11 and Floriano Moraes Rego nº 12, and the others that may be created, under the terms of this legal diploma.

The Very Respectable Grand Masonic Lodge of Amapá is a sovereign and independent organization, with government and ritualistic and administrative responsibility. It does not share its authority and sovereignty and is not subject to the dominion or control of any other Masonic power, national or foreign. Thus constituted and in the interest of better governing the Masons of the Fraternity, through general and equitable representation, the Masonic Grand Lodge of Amapá has, as its principles, the love of God, Brazil, Humanity and the Family, and, as its objective, to preach and propagate tolerance, respect and brotherly love, which guarantee freedom of conscience and the free expression of thought, within morality and obedience to the laws of the Country, which will allow, with virtue and wisdom, the achievement of the sublime Masonic ideal: universal peace, through the fraternization of peoples
