Approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with the FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors.

You can check your glucose by scanning the sensor with your phone.

Now FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensor users can automatically receive blood glucose readings in the FreeStyle LibreLink app updated every minute, as well as receive alarms when glucose levels are low or high. [1][2]

You can use FreeStyle LibreLink to:

* Display of current glucose data, trend arrow and glucose history

* Receiving low or high glucose alarms with FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors [2]

* View reports such as Time in Range and Daily Patterns

* Sharing your data with your doctor and family based on your permissions [3]

USING THE APP AND THE READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR

Alarms can only be triggered on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or on the phone (not both). To receive alarms on your phone, you need to trigger the sensor with the app. To receive alarms on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, you must trigger the sensor with the reader. After triggering the sensor with the reader, you can also scan the sensor with your phone.

Remember that the app and the reader do not share data with each other. You can get complete information about the device by scanning the sensor every 8 hours. Otherwise, your reports won't include all of your data. You can upload and view data from all devices on LibreView.com.

The FreeStyle LibreLink application in combination with the sensor is designed to measure glucose levels in people with diabetes.
