In Land of Lucent, every level the player is provided with a list of quests that he need to accomplish. The simple object of the game is to navigate the player until he reach the end of each level. In order to gain points the player needs to collect coins, kill enemies using jump and fire button.

Player needs to collect the coins to gain points and there is a bonus game where player will collect additional lives. This will be a fun way of learning. There is only five lives given to complete all the quests. In each level the game will be timed. If the player fails to finish the challenge on time or if the player lost all his lives the game is over, a game over screen will pop up and will go back to main menu. On the top right of the screen there is a paused menu where the player can pause, resume or refresh the game or go back to the main menu if he wants to. It consists of five stages with corresponding four levels.

Stage One is Jungle, Stage two is volcano, Stage 3 is Desert, Stage 4 is Snow World and Stage Five is the Great Castle where the witch lives. Certain levels are extremely difficult and almost seem impossible, requiring countless attempts to get passed.

The goal of this game is to score by getting every level gain as much coins as possible. If the player reaches a high score, his score will be stored in level complete screen. Each level is timed, if the player does not make the quest on time, the game is over. There is only five lives to complete all the quests.
