Sustainability assessment of small-scale agriculture producers

The SAFA Smallholders App is a free mobile application for Android cell phones and tablets from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. The application is a practical tool for smallholders and field workers for assessing the sustainaility of agricultural farms, including good governance, environmental integrity, economic resilience and social wellbeing. The assessment is quick and results are offered in an easy to interpret histogram, with recommendations for improvements that could be transmitted by sms, voicemail or e-mail.
