Useful information for people who may have or have had back pain
Back pain is one of the most frequent health problems for which people go to the doctor or miss their job, and is one of the main causes of disability worldwide. Most people have back pain at least once in their life.
Fortunately, measures can be taken to prevent or alleviate most episodes of back pain.
The school of back is a type of education focused on people who want to prevent or take an active part in the management of back pain, along with the health professionals who attend them. It is a preventive modality of education, acquisition of knowledge about flexibility exercises, strength, coordination and resistance training. They are aimed at improving the resistance of the back as a whole and to reduce stresses on the structures that compose it.
The purpose of the back school is summarized in these sections:
1. Provide as many people as possible with more knowledge about this health problem.
2. Promote an active and healthy lifestyle for the back.
3. Improve the health of people by helping them to improve their functional capacity with the lowest risks.
4. Reduce the costs of all kinds that cause this health problem in people.
5. Help people live their lives with the least possible limitations due to back problems.
In this application, useful information is presented for people who may have or have had back pain, highlighting the following sections:
- Basic information and easy to understand about anatomy and how the spine works.
- Physical ability and general exercise to keep the back healthy.
-Exercises to keep the back healthy, separated according to the area of the affected spine, with different degrees of difficulty.
-Postural hygiene. People are taught the most beneficial postures and positions for the back in the activities of daily life and work.
-Style of life, how to eat properly and how to achieve a satisfactory social life.
-What to do in acute back pain. Recommendations to deal with it adequately.
-How to maintain functional capacity in chronic back pain.

All the information that appears in the app, is complemented with images and very visual animations so that patients can better understand all the concepts that are explained in it.
