“The Mangols Journey-walking towards a healthy life” is a program that treats childhood overweight and obesity in a comprehensive way: it combines professional follow-up in pediatric consultations, with a computer application for children with their families, acquire knowledge and strategies in an entertaining and fun way. The healthcare professional will activate the application, and can then start the treatment program.

This application allows boys and girls between 7 to 14 years of age and their families to acquire knowledge and generate the necessary changes to achieve healthy lifestyle habits, addressing the problem from all its complexity: balanced diet, physical activity, emotional strength or overcoming obstacles, among others.

Mangols' Journey is an adventure around the world in which they will visit 13 countries, overcome the challenges of the missions and complete 5 levels of knowledge. After passing each level, protocolized face-to-face consultations will be held with their pediatric referents, with the aim of advising, reinforcing the content and motivating children and families.
