The Book of Mormon is a volume of holy scripture similar to the Bible. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and confirms the truths found in the Bible. The Book of Mormon does not replace the Bible, but they are complementary works that together teach about God and Jesus Christ.

Both volumes of the scriptures are a compilation of the recorded teachings of the ancient prophets. While the Bible describes events in the Eastern Hemisphere, the Book of Mormon documents the lives of the people of ancient America.
