Temperature sensors and trippoint alert

If temperature data is available, Cpu Float displays cpu and gpu temperatures. If sensors are not exposed by the device, you can select an alternate temperature source in settings. It has been tested on Qualcomm chipsets; on other chipsets some sensors may not behave as expected. When a reading crosses the trippoint threshold, the display turns red, and you can adjust the threshold value.

Light footprint and permissions guidance

Cpu Float uses minimal permissions, including vibrate, read sdcard, and draw over other apps. It runs offline and has no ads. On Android 6 and later, permission changes are blocked while any overlay is active. If you see a screen overlay detected message, close the floating window and change the permission, then reopen.
