About Sarwendah

Sarwendah Tan, Popularly known as Wenda was born on August 29, 1989 in Jakarta, Indonesia. She is a well known model, singer and actress. She endorses several brands such as Jambi Jambe Cake, Batik Kuda Mas

She is an Entrepreneur and has various business lines such as Sarwendah Juice, SOS – Snacks of Sarwendah, SW Heart etc.

She started her career as a Mandarin teacher and translator. Wenda, plunged into the entertainment world when she signed Cherrybelle. Sarwendah cherrybelle debuted on the musical show ‘Inbox’, June 18, 2011. The K-pop girl style inspired appearance successfully catapulted her name in the industry. The title given to her fans was WedAddict.

She later retired from Cherry belle along with Devi on April 12, 2012 due to her adult age.

Wenda and Devi soon formed a duo WenDev but she soon started to pursue a solo career.

After leaving Chibi, she actively acted in the tv series “Cinta Cenat Cenut3” . In addition she also appeared on screen in the horror genre film “Nightmare Slide”(2013) . She previously appeared in the movie about Cherry Belle titled “Love is You” in 2012.

Soon after, Sarwendah established a relationship with famous comedian Rueben Onsu and the couple pronounced their sacred vows of marriage on October 22, 2013 at a chapel in the Nusa Dua area, Bali. They both were blessed with a daughter names Thalia Putri Onsu who was born in June 2015.

Since getting married and having a child, Wenda lives more often at home and takes care of her family. Wenda Tan has remained consistent with her solo career path and releases her singles on Youtube.
