Advanced Encryption Standard technology is supported by this microprocessor. These instructions accelerate AES encryption and decryption, and are valuable if you run applications, that secure your disk or network data.

The AMD A10-8700P processor supports AVX2, F16C, FMA3 and XOP instructions. These extensions are not broadly used in programs yet, but their support should improve in future applications.

The A10-8700P CPU has FMA4 instruction set extension enabled. Only AMD CPUs have this technology, therefore not many software vendors may support it in the future.
