Australia’s largest marathon goes virtual. The Melbourne Marathon Festival holds a special place in the hearts of generations of runners, and although we can’t physically bring everyone together this year, we will be staging a Virtual Melbourne Marathon on December 5 – 13 to help our running community maintain their goals, stay inspired and keep fit.

ABOUT THE MELBOURNE MARATHON

The Melbourne Marathon is Australia’s Largest Marathon. More than 35,000 competitors from all over the globe participate in this awesome event annually, finishing with a lap of the MCG's hallowed turf after passing many of Melbourne's famous landmarks en-route.

The festival features distances for all ages and abilities making it a great family friendly event. Events include the Melbourne Marathon (42.195km), Half Marathon (21.1km), 10km Run, 5km Run and 3km Walk.

Register for the Virtual event and you will receive an access code to the Virtual Melbourne Marathon App. Bring the Melbourne Marathon experience to you as you take advantage of Voice Prompts, Overall, Individual & Team Feeds, Live Event & Team Leaderboards, Unique Landmark Audio Cues, Personalised Race Bibs, Finisher Medals and so much more.
