Today, Sri Valli Vilas is easily one of the most popular jewel retailers in the district of Cuddalore. Our tradition dates back to approximately 100 years. Mr. M.V. Paavadai Chettiar started his trade in gold for the first time in Cuddalore in 1922. In 1953, during the period of Mr. M.V.P. Dandabani Chettiar, Sri Valli Vilas was officially habituated at No 43-44 Lawrence Road, Cuddalore. Under the leadership of Mr. Velusamy Chettiar, the firm grew extensively. While the centenary year celebrations of our founder, Mr. M.V.P Dandabani Chettiar just got over, Sri Valli Vilas has already become a prominent landmark in the district of Cuddalore.

We take immense pride in acknowledging the fact that we have customers who are NRI’s but still keep coming back to us on the grounds of goodwill.

One could easily spot a lot of corporates and other firms advertise and vouch about trading 916 gold jewels in today’s scenario. We are very privileged to have introduced and traded the same way back in 1952. In good old days, 11.1 gold jewels bearing “P.D.” seal was very sought after. In 2014, a branch of Sri Valli Vilas was instituted in Chidambaram. We are overjoyed to have had a fabulous response there as well.
