The Pazhassiraja School, situated in Kuthampully, the nationally renowned weaving centre in Thiruvilwamala, is owned and managed by Vadake Ambalapatt Educational and Charitable Trust. The school is the result of long cherished dream of Mr. Sivan Nambeesan, the chairman of the Trust, to have a Hi Tech School in Thiruvilwamala.

The school is located in a serene, pollution free area which is away from the din and sound of the city. The confluence of river Gayathri and the Bharathapuzha is behind the school. The hillocks that surround and the verdure they bear add to the beauty of the school. The trees in the campus house a number of peacocks which make the campus more enthralling. The butterfly garden with children’s park, kids’ gym for K.G. Students, extensive play grounds are some of the amenities.

The school aims to produce reliable and responsible global citizens. Besides having the motto of imparting impeccable knowledge to the students, the school focuses on the inculcation of the eternal values like love, kindness, respect to the elders, tolerance etc. Their social, emotional and intellectual development is taken care of by such activities that ensure the involvement of the students.

The school plunges into all social issues of the place. Under the guidance of the efficient scientists, the school has implemented Green ThiruvilwamalaProgramme through which 5000 saplings were distributed in the panchayathfor the last two years.One Rupee A Day programme was launched to inculcate in the students the joy of giving. The students chipped in and raised a fund which was distributed among the needy of the society.To imprint the religious harmony in the minds of the students, the school practices celebration of all the major festivals of all the major religions.

We believe that each individual is unique and has to cater his needs individually. So, we give utmost importance to individual care. So, the students are prone to think ‘ here we don’t have teachers, only mothers.’ Each one gets ample opportunities to hone their talents, so, all the competitions are evenly distributed in all the months until Annual Day which is to be held in the first week of February. Coaching is given for chess, and musical instruments like guitar, key-board and violin, and abacus as After School Programme. Archery and karate are also taught.

Students enjoy stress free education. Frequent field trips, assignments, projects, regular class tests and exams strengthen their academics. The school focuses on imparting practical wisdom and not producing book-worms. It is our dream that our students become reliable global citizens.
