Take a trip to the future. Imagine being a teenager in 2036. Being a teen is exactly the same even in 2036. The parents won’t allow you to get a digital implant, but you get it anyway from the black market. It doesn’t turn out to be what you imagined. Getting the implant this way unleashed a series of events that leads you to live your greatest nightmare.
