65x24 Film Camera Screenshots

About 65x24 Film Camera

Film Simulation Camera in a wide Panoramic format

This is inspired by 35mm film cameras that take photos using the 65x24 aspect ratio, for example cameras such as the Hasselblad XPAN / Fuji TX-1

Now, all you need is an android with a camera to be able to capture your very own!

Also, this is as much a FILM SIMULATION app as it is a Camera app. A lot of time effort and attention have gone into the film simulations - they are dynamic algorithms based on real film scans! They aren't just simple overlay presets.

App Features

- Photos taken in 65x24 aspect ratio

- You can IMPORT photos to apply film simulations to them. Either press the IMPORT button in the Gallery part of the app, or use the Android Share functionality to shares photos into the app

- You can add frames to images! To enable, just tap the [ ] button next to the preset selector

- PRO CAMERA Features

-- You can manually set shutter speed

-- You can manually set EV

- Apply film filters in REAL TIME to the viewfinder as well as the saved images

- Built in gallery so you can easily keep a track of all your photos

- EXIF data saved to images, including Location tags (optional)

- Supports telephoto Zoom cameras*

- Cool and fun app UI

Film Simulation details:

- Full algorithmic implementation which responds dynamically to images in ways that static presets cannot

- Based on actual film characteristics

-- Precise, multi-point tone curves with specific values derived from film scan data

-- Full color matrix transformations

-- Color matrices account for cross-channel color mixing, which is crucial for accurately simulating how film responds to different colors of light

-- Grain characteristics including size, roughness, and intensity variation across tones

* Please note that the app will default to your phone's ultra-wide camera if it has it. Press the focal length button in the top-left to switch between your devices different cameras. NOTE: This works for Samsung and Pixel phones. Other manufacturers may limit access to cameras by third party apps. I have followed the standard android way of doing this. If it doesn't work on your phone then unfortunaly your manufacturer has blocked this functionality for apps.
