In addition to checking the power status, we have enhanced the functions that are useful for power saving.

By tapping the widget, you can see a power status history graph from the past that makes it easy to predict power usage trends. In addition, we incorporated weather and temperature, which have a large impact on power usage.

In addition, the latest tweets of power companies and power saving tips according to the current weather and power situation are displayed as tickers. Power outage information is also supported. It also has a sharing function that allows you to tweet graph images. In addition, we have provided a function to notify the power status with an LED or notification area when the power usage exceeds 95%.

In order not to overload the servers of electric power companies and the Japan Meteorological Agency, data is periodically acquired in API format from the cloud server developed by our company on Google App Engine.

The main features of this app are:

■ Analog meter display on the home screen

The data time and power supply and demand status are displayed in percentage and meter. The number representing the power usage rate is normally white, and when the supply and demand situation reaches 90% to 94%, the display color changes to orange, and when it exceeds 95%, the display color changes to red to call attention. You can set the background to a transparent color.

■ Electric power rainbow graph and weather/temperature history display

At the top of the screen, the latest power information and weather information provided by the Japan Meteorological Agency are displayed, and at the bottom is a rainbow graph display of power information (history of power since March 23). On the horizontal screen, one week's worth is displayed collectively.

■ Ticker display of the latest tweets from electric power companies, power saving tips, etc.

At the bottom of the screen, tickers are displayed with power saving tips according to the current power situation and weather conditions, as well as the latest Twitter information from power companies.

■ Notify with LED and notification area when power is in a pinch

When the power usage exceeds 95%, the LED and notification area will notify you of the power status.

■ Sharing graphs

Graphs can be shared using smartphone applications such as Twitter, Facebook, Gmail, and photo albums that can link images.

■ Update data

Automatically obtained from the cloud on a regular basis. You can manually update to the latest information by tapping the widget. The original data provided by the power company is updated approximately every five minutes.

■ Settings

You can make various settings such as making the widget transparent and changing the data update interval.
