The Meccan Conquests - by the Greatest Sheikh Muhyi al-Din Ibn al-Arabi al-Andalusi / 558 AH - 638 AH /
"Introduction to the book"
We said, and perhaps it occurred to me to include in this book, or not, a chapter on beliefs supported by conclusive evidence and clear proofs, then I saw that this distracts the prepared person who seeks more and is exposed to the breaths of generosity with the secrets of existence. At that time, God Almighty bestows upon him the door of his Lord and gives him knowledge of Him, the divine secrets, and the divine knowledge with which God, glory be to Him, praised His servant Khidr.
He said, One of Our servants, We gave him mercy from Us, and taught him knowledge from Us
And the Almighty said: And fear God, and God will teach you
And he said: If you fear God, He will make you a difference
And he will make you a light to walk with.
It was said to Al-Junayd: “What I have achieved is what I have achieved.” He said: “I have been sitting below that degree for thirty years.”
Abu Yazid said: You took your knowledge from the dead from the dead, and we took our knowledge from the living that does not die.
Thus, the one who is determined in solitude with God, and through him his gift is transcendent and his end of sciences is exalted, is what is absent from every speaker on the simple.
(Knowledge of the mind) and it is every science that comes to you as a necessity or as a consequence of examining evidence, provided that the face of that evidence and its likeness of its kind are found in the world of thought that collects and is specific to this art of sciences.
(And the second knowledge) is the knowledge of conditions, and there is no way to it except by taste. A sane person is not able to define it and does not establish evidence for its knowledge, such as knowledge of the sweetness of honey, the bitterness of patience, the pleasure of sexual intercourse, love, ecstasy, longing, and what is similar to this type of science. And he tastes it and resembles it of its kind among the people of taste, as one who overcomes the place of his taste of yellow-bitter, and finds honey as bitter, and this is not the case, because the one who touches the place of taste is the yellow bitter.
(And the third science) the sciences of secrets, and it is the science that is above the stage of the mind. .
And the other type is of two kinds, one that joins the second science, but his condition is more honorable.
His saying that there is a paradise from the knowledge of the news and his saying in the resurrection that there is a basin sweeter than honey than the knowledge of conditions, which is the knowledge of taste, and his saying that God and nothing is with him and the like of the sciences of the mind that are perceived by looking, this third category, which is the science of secrets by which he knows all sciences and absorbs them and is not the owner Those sciences are likewise, and there is no knowledge more honorable than this surrounding knowledge that contains all the information and what remains is that the one who is informed of it is truthful to those who listen to it and is infallible. This is a condition of the common people. For every sane person, if he brings him these sciences is not infallible, even if he is truthful in the same matter in what he was told, but just as this listener does not have to believe in him, he does not have to deny it, but it stops. It is one of the pillars of the Shari’ah and does not invalidate one of its foundations, so if it comes with an order that is valid and the legislator is silent about it, then we should not reject it at all and we are given the choice to accept it. We know and look If what he was told was true in the way we have corrected aspects, we would accept it, otherwise we would leave it in the section of rewards and we did not talk about his saying anything, then it is a written testimony that we ask about. The infallible is he who weaves for us what we have of a narration about him, so there is no benefit he added to us with his experience, but they come, may God be pleased with them, with secrets and rulings from the secrets of Sharia, which are beyond the power of thought and earning and are never attained except by witnessing and inspiration and what is like these ways and from here the benefit is his saying, peace be upon him, if it is In my nation, modernists, including Omar!
And what he said about Abu Bakr regarding his virtue of being secret is something else, even if there was no denial of these sciences in existence.
The saying of Abu Hurairah did not help. I memorized from the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, two containers. As for one of them, I spewed it. As for the other, if I spewed it, this pharynx would be cut off from me.
The saying of Ibn Abbas did not help when he said in the words of God Almighty, God who created seven heavens and from the earth the like of them, the matter descends between them.
