The Chinese language, despite all its complexity, has steadily increased the number of its “subscribers” in recent years. Every year, an increasing number of foreigners move to China to live, work, learn a language. This is, of course, connected not with the great culture or eventful history of China, but with its economy. China’s new economic miracle, which became a magnet for world-wide layoffs during the crisis of 2008, has led many inquisitive minds to turn their eyes to it and wonder, “Can I learn Chinese?”

In order to understand whether it is worth undertaking Chinese or not, you need to answer yourself two questions:

1. Why do I need Chinese?

2. How much am I willing to spend time on it?

More and more residents of Russia are gazing steadily towards the Chinese language, wondering if they can cope with the study, because there are legends about the complexity of the Celestial language. Is the devil so terrible as he is painted, or does the Chinese language submit not only to the chosen ones?

Learning Chinese in writing begins with cramming hieroglyphs. Contrary to popular belief, there is no need to memorize all several thousand by heart: it’s good enough to remember the graphic elements that make up them, and there are only about two hundred of these elements. Imagine you are learning a very large alphabet.

The method of learning writing is probably familiar to you from elementary school: it's a recipe! Time after time, you display the character, trying to "remember" how it looks. Moreover, experts do not recommend prescribing one character many times - 3-4 entries are enough, and proceed to the next. Conversational skills

There is an opinion that in order to master tones it is necessary to have a musical ear, and in its absence, you must immediately put an end to the opportunity to learn Chinese. This is not true: of course, people with a fine ear can learn pronunciation faster and show good results in listening, but their advantages end there. Regularity and diligence - this is what you will need to master pronunciation.

Tones need to be taught! If you do not want to be constantly asked what you mean, you need to use tones. Teaching Chinese in the field of speaking includes hours of practice in pronunciation of tones. Believe me, if you try, the result will not be long in coming.
